feeling... so fucking tired...

Sorry it's been a while since I've made an update! I've been pretty exhausted lately, and life's been really kicking my ass, lmao. I have a lot of media reviews and my Year favorites posts coming up, plus I have pages coming soon for more of my works. Speaking of works, I published a game on my Itch! This was a lot of fun to make. I liked learning more about unity and I had a lot of fun putting some old vtuber assets to work, making new ones, and finding some really cool assets online (check out the credits on itch, all cool stuff made by cool folks)

I had fun playing it back too! It definitely makes me want to learn to make more, I'd love to come back to this and tweak it to have some goals and cutscenes for passing them, maybe implement a cheating dealer mechanic or something. There's a lot of possibilities to play with. I'm happy with how it came out for the first try regardless!

but... getting through it!

I've kind of had a string of nightmares IRL lately but I'm getting back on the ball! Current misfortunes from last update until now include: family health scares, my car's front axle breaking while I was driving, my job getting flooded, my job getting robbed, I got food poisoning, lost my voice, and fell off a ladder at work. Thankfully all these things resolved, but man did it take a lot outta me to go through them all. Here's to hoping I shook out some bad luck before 2026!

mistfortunes aside I've had the pleasure of getting to see great friends back in town for the holidays and truly there's nothing better than that! funny we get to stay on the theme of cards, we had a blast playing penny poker! I have luck on my side with these games :3 I ended the night doubling my cash and had a great time with my pals, so I'm happy, haha.
